About the schools...
Yester Primary School is situated in south east Scotland, about 30 miles east of the capital city, Edinburgh. The school is rural, and has a current role of around 165 children. The school is in the picturesque village of Gifford, about 5 minutes drive from the larger market town of Haddington. The school is only minutes from the Lammermuir hills, yet is also only around 15 minutes drive from beautiful beaches.
The Ecole Grands Jardins is situated in the beautiful town of Aubigny-sur-Nère, central France, about 2½ hours drive south of Paris. Both schools hope to use this blog to exchange information about each other and to find out a bit about each other’s cultures.
